Chris Brown
Owner, Head Trainer & Lead Zoophilist
Chris grew up alongside wild creatures literally in the house, including chimpanzees, lions, tigers, wolves and bears. An unusual start but one that meant being on set with animals was just a normal day. Running Tooth n Claw for many years now, Chris has been the leading Animal Consultant on hundreds of shoots where the animal action is crucial to the scene or the entire project. Loves to see new scripts come to life and puts his knowledge of filming and animals to work for you.
Sam Capp
Sam is the lead consultant at our Manchester office, Sam has been working with animals since she was a teenager in a variety of different environments including veterinary, pet care, rescue and equine. She owns a successful dog training school and owns 3 of her own working dogs. She’s worked on many sets over the years, both nationally and internationally with a wide variety of animals.
Carys Griffiths
BVM BVS MRCVS
Carys is our practising Vet and started her career in mixed practice in Kent, She works in multiple practices around London and Hertfordshire. Carys has been involved in film supervision since her early professional career. Ensuring that film work with animals can be achieved ethically and with the needs of the animal put first is always her priority when assisting with shoots.
Outside of work she is a keen traveller, enjoys artistic pursuits and tries to get a ski trip in each year.
