• Casting of animals should be done via video pre-records, casting limited to animal trainer and owner with social distancing in place.

• Animal trainers will follow the same protocol as all other Production Team members (e.g., testing, reporting and monitoring symptoms, completing health questionnaire, use of PPE, etc.). 

• Animals to be called to set for as short a time as possible and wrapped when not required. Rooms may be required to hold animals and trainers while off set.

• A trainer working with multiple animals will sanitise hands before and after working different groups.  

• Trainers will not allow anyone to touch the animals besides the trainer and cast/crew, if necessary for the scene. Before and after cast/crew interaction with an animal, hand washing to be used.

• Masks to be worn indoors when social distancing is not possible, it may be necessary to remove the mask to give instructions to animals and this should be considered during shot setup.

• Extra time to setup and shoot each scene should be considered when necessary.

• At this time, spread of Covid-19 between animals and humans is believed to be rare but we will maintain procedures until the pandemic is over.
